For psychotherapy institutes and supervision centres

Your participants
meet their first client
already rehearsed.

PsyPractice is practice software for your cohort. Participants run multi session simulated consultations, spoken aloud or typed, with clients who remember them, and a supervisor report reads every transcript. Your supervision hours stay for clinical reasoning; the correctable basics get caught by the software first.

Cohort licence, flexible payment. One panel for the whole cohort.

Supervision hours are scarce. Rehearsal should not be.

The first real client comes too early

Most participants reach their first real consultation with a handful of role plays behind them. The mistakes they make there are predictable and repeatable, and they get learned on a real person.

Supervision does not stretch to everyone

Group supervision covers a few cases per meeting. Individual feedback on every participant's every consultation is what the programme promises and what capacity rarely allows.

Progress cannot be compared across the cohort

Skill develops, but the evidence lives in memory and in loose notes. Without a common measure, two supervisors rate the same participant differently and the cohort has no curve.

The programme stays yours. The rehearsal volume stops being the limit.

PsyPractice does not replace your supervisors or your modules. It sits between the meetings, where participants currently have nothing to practise on, and hands your supervisors a record of what happened there.

Supervision hours spent on clinical reasoning

Every session ends with a supervisor report anchored to the transcript: what worked, what was missed, which cue went unanswered. Correctable basics are caught before the participant brings the case to you.

Unlimited repetition per participant

A participant can work with the same client for a whole term or start the relationship over. The client remembers every session: the last one in detail, earlier ones more faintly, the homework that was set and the sentences that stayed with them. A week passes between sessions.

One panel for the whole cohort

Sessions held, latest score and change per participant, the cohort average, and each consultation's transcript with the report's findings pinned to the exact turn they refer to.

Clients matched to your protocol

Pick from the case library or have simulated clients built for your modules (avoidance, rumination, a resistant first session). Open one to the cohort as an assignment: everyone's client lives through the same weeks, so you can compare who did what in the same hard week.

A record participants take with them

Each participant builds a practice record across the cohort: five microskills scored session by session, alliance over time, sessions held. The assessment, the credit and any document a participant receives stay with your institute.

Consent first, private by default

A participant's sessions become visible to their supervisor only after the participant gives separate, explicit consent on a screen that names the supervisor. Private notes are never shown. Access ends when the cohort ends.

From the first conversation to the cohort's numbers, in four steps.

You tell us about the cohort

In a 30-minute call we go through size, start date, modality and which clients you want. We then come back with a quote and agree the payment terms together.

Your supervisor gets the panel

We open the cohort and send your supervisor an invitation. Participants join with the cohort code or a personal link, through a consent screen that names who will see what.

Participants practise between meetings

Each participant works with a simulated client for the length of the cohort: several sessions, hints during a session when they get stuck, a supervisor report after every one.

You follow the curve

The panel shows sessions held, scores and change per participant, and opens any consultation with the report's findings beside the transcript. When the cohort ends, participants' session allowance ends and their records stay with them.

Supervision is the scarcest hour in your programme. Spend it on clinical reasoning, not on the mistakes software can catch first.

Why institutes license PsyPractice

A client who remembers, a supervisor who reads.

The same software individuals use on their own, without the free plan's limits: as many sessions as the licence covers, every one of them with a full report.

  • Simulated clients with defenses, silences and an alliance score that moves with how the participant works
  • Memory across sessions: what was disclosed, what was assigned and whether it got done, how much trust was built
  • Hints during the session that give direction, never a ready made sentence
  • A supervisor report after every session, each finding pinned to the transcript
  • A private notebook the supervisor never sees, and everything in the participant's own language
  • Voice sessions: speak to the client out loud and hear them answer in a voice of their own

Somatic grounding question shifted Aylin out of intellectualisation. Excellent instinct.
Held silence effectively; didn't rush to fill discomfort
Missed cue When Aylin said "I keep finding reasons not to", this is likely a pattern beyond this one call. The schema is avoidance of intimacy, not logistical overwhelm.
Gently explore the earliest memory of feeling like a burden. She hinted at it but you moved on.
New

Rehearsal at the pace of the real room.

A written session lets a participant draft, delete and polish. A consultation does not. In voice mode participants speak their interventions out loud, bear the silence while the client thinks, and hear hesitation in a voice instead of reading it.

  • Push to talk: hold to speak, release to send, and interrupt the client mid sentence when the moment calls for it.
  • Each client keeps one voice for the whole cohort, matched to their age and gender.
  • Nothing on screen during the session. The full transcript and the supervisor report arrive when it ends, the same as for a written session.
  • A hint pauses the session: the client finishes the sentence and falls silent, and the hint appears in writing.
  • Recordings are turned into text and never stored. Text mode is always one tap away.

Included in every cohort licence. Voice works in both English and Turkish.

Priced per cohort, not per participant.

An institute budgets by cohort, so the licence is sold that way: a seat package for a fixed period. Pay up front, in instalments or as a committed monthly subscription.

Quoted by cohort size. Every package includes the supervisor panel, assignments, clients built for your modules and the practice record. A licence for a different size is a conversation, not a form.

Built for a programme that answers to its participants.

Hosted in the EU

Platform and database run in a data centre in the Netherlands. Voice recordings are turned into text and never stored. Participants can delete their account at any time.

Data processing agreement

Available for signature before the cohort starts, alongside the GDPR privacy notice every participant accepts at sign up. The agreement names the data controller and the processor.

Explicit consent, per participant

Supervisor visibility starts only after each participant consents on a screen that names the supervisor and says what becomes visible. No consent, no membership; the person can still use the software on their own.

Boundaries that hold

Supervisors see sessions run inside the cohort window, never the private notebook and never sessions from before or after. Access closes automatically on the end date; participants keep their accounts.
What PsyPractice is not
PsyPractice is software. It does not teach, assess or accredit anyone. The programme, the assessment and any document a participant receives remain entirely with your institute; the software supplies the rehearsal and the record.

What institutes ask before the first cohort

Can we use clients that match our own protocol?
Yes. The library covers eight diagnoses at several severities. Beyond it, simulated clients are built for your modules from a closed clinical registry, so every symptom, schema and defense has a published source. Your supervisor opens them to the cohort as assignments.
How do participants join?
Either with the cohort's shared code at sign up or with a personal invitation link your supervisor sends from the panel. Both paths go through the consent screen first; nobody is added without it. You never have to hand us a list of participants.
What does the supervisor see, and what not?
Sessions run during the cohort, their supervisor reports with each finding linked to the transcript, the sentences of the participant that the client carries into later sessions, and the skill curve per participant. Not the private notebook, and not sessions from before joining or after the cohort ends.
Do participants pay anything?
That is your decision. Your institute buys the licence; whether to pass the cost on through your own programme fee is up to you. Participants do not need a plan of their own.
Is there a free pilot?
No. The licence is paid and priced by cohort size. If you want to judge the software first, the free plan gives anyone three sessions with a full report and no card; that is enough to meet the client and read the supervisor yourself.
Which languages does it work in?
English and Turkish for now, with more languages on the way. Not only the interface: the client, the report, the hints and the progress themes are produced in the participant's language. Voice sessions work in both.
Can participants speak instead of typing?
Yes, every cohort licence includes voice sessions. The participant holds a button and speaks, the client answers in a voice of their own that stays the same all term, and nothing is written on screen until the session ends. The transcript and the supervisor report are the same as for a written session, so your supervisors read both the same way. Recordings are turned into text and never stored, and text mode is always one tap away for participants who cannot or prefer not to speak.
How does payment work?
We plan payment around your budget: up front, in instalments or as a committed monthly subscription. Invoices are issued as a software licence and paid by bank transfer or card. A data processing agreement can be signed with the same paperwork.
What happens when the cohort ends?
Supervisor access closes on the end date. Participants keep their accounts, their reports and their practice record. To keep running sessions afterwards they pick a plan of their own, or your next cohort includes them again.
